Contest Entry Form
The League of Women Voters of North Pinellas County and the League of Women Voters St. Petersburg Area is sponsoring a video contest for high school students on the topic of the importance of voting. The project is called “YVOTE,” and is open to any student enrolled in a Pinellas County district public high school or public charter high school.
Video entries:
- Must be at least 30 seconds
- Cannot exceed 90 seconds
- Students can work independently
- Students can work with a group of 2 other Pinellas County high school or public charter high school students on their entries
- All work must be original or in the Public Domain
- If using copyrighted material, it must be cited and obtained with permission for use
- Entry must be received with the video by midnight on December 8, 2025
Your “YVOTE” video should be creative, effective, and motivational and should promote the importance of voting by citizens of all age groups, especially those in the 18-24 age group
Video specifications:

- Video Size: 600px Wide x 0000px High
- Allowed File Types: MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, MKV, and WebM
- Minimum File Size:Maximum File Size: 256MB

The League of Women Voters of North Pinellas County is a non-partisan, non-profit, (501c3) organization with a history of promoting informed voter participation and enhancing citizen engagement. The purpose of this contest is to engage young adult (both eligible and about to be eligible) voters to actively participate in the process of voting; the fundamental right of every US citizen and the foundation of a healthy democracy.
