As of February 3, 2025 League of Women Voters (LWV) members from across the nation pay annual dues to the National LWV office rather than their local League.
To Join our local group or Renew your membership you will be redirected to the National LWV Portal.
To make CONTRIBUTIONS, please donate to LWV North Pinellas County.
Does not cover Membership Dues
Membership dues are on a sliding scale.
Individual members: $75 per year is the recommended amount, or pay what you can ($20 minimum).
You can add a second household member ($150 total for both recommended, $40 for both minimum), but each member will need a unique email address.
Dues are split between the LWVNPC (20%), LWVFL (47%) and LWVUS (33%) and paid annually by members, renewable on your Join Date anniversary each year.

Although members are presented with the option to join at a “higher level” than $75 on the national website or to make a donation there, our local League will, unfortunately, only receive a fraction of that.
For those willing and able to make a donation in addition to the $75 membership fee to LWVNPC, we ask you to make that extra donation here locally using our direct donation link below. This ensures that the donation will come directly to LWVNPC.
Renewing Members:
Upon log in, please use the same email address currently in your member file. If your email address ever changes, navigate to your profile on the LWV Portal and edit the “preferred email” tab.
When you join the League of Women Voters, we will help you learn more about how our organization works. We frequently have new member orientation meetings, social get-togethers with other league members, and have a dedicated New Member Handbook so you can get to know our history and operating procedures. New Member Orientation
New member orientation meetings are typically held quarterly. During these meetings, you can meet other new members, learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities, and familiarize yourself with League priorities. You will receive their publications along with the newsletter from the League of Women Voters of North Pinellas County and access to our membership of nearly 175 like-minded community leaders. In addition to your membership in LWVNP, your voice will be added to a powerful organization with members from all 50 states, Washington DC, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.
