On December 10, The Tampa Bay Times published an opinion column, “Mid-Term Redistricting is Bad, Don’t Do It…. by LWVSPA President, Jackie Aziz.  She described how hundreds of Floridians, including LWVFL members,  travelled to Tallahassee on December 4, 2025 to express concerns about this issue to the Florida Legislature, but were not allowed to speak.
